Tributes & Events

Following the excitement generated in Vermont after Neil Young’s recent performance, Shelburne Vineyard is pleased to present an evening of Neil Young and Joni Mitchell songs by Vermont musicians Ragged Glory and Dawna Hammers. The concert will start at 6 PM on Thursday evening, Sept 3.

Green Pasture Meats will be on hand with their food truck and Shelburne Vineyard wine and Fiddlehead will be available for sale by the glass. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Vermont Family Network.

This concert is family friendly and admission is free. Grounds will open early for picnicking and the concert will go on rain or shine.

Ragged Glory is Vermont’s favorite Neil Young tribute group. Led by the father and son team of Ken and Jesse French, they bring Mr. Young’s music to life with skill and passion. For this performance they will join forces with Dawna Hammers of Shelburne, an accomplished singer and performer who has created a powerful Joni Mitchell tribute. Together they have a huge repertoire of over 80 songs with classics like Sugar Mountain, Cowgirl in the Sand and Heart of Gold; Both Sides Now, Circle Game, Big Yellow Taxi and Woodstock. In addition, Ragged Glory also performs material from the entire spectrum of Mr. Young’s 50-year career, including the new Monsanto Years album. Celebrate live, local music and enjoy the great songs of these musical legends by local singers right here in VT
