Remember that early album cover? Joni Mitchell was all dewy-eyed innocence. But the singer-songwriter, now 37, has cast aside that image—at least in a new movie where she dresses up as a radio-toting' swaggering black pimp. Called "Love," the film is an anthology of nine stories all written and directed by women, and it is Mitchell's first acting appearance on the screen. Why the venture into movies? "I'm interested in making stories happen in front of your eyes," she says.
