SATURDAY was a red-letter day for After Four Reps. It was our first rep meeting and party of the year and the guys and gals, each from a high school in Toronto, visited the CFTO studios and participated in two color tapings of the After Four Show.
Hostess Carol Goss, chatted with the reps and Gordon Lightfoot, host of the show, sang many special numbers for the group.
Joni Mitchell and Doug Brown, guests on After Four's Folk Fest, explained lyrics of many of their songs to the reps.
A meeting was held between shows and our reps are now busy preparing for their assignments. Their big job this year is Datebook but many other special features are also being planned.
The After Four Reps now know what goes on behind the scenes of a TV studio - hard work, technical difficulty, confusion and a sprinkle of tom-foolery!
