I saw Joni appear at St. John's Arena at The Ohio State University in January 1974. I thought, when I saw her and heard her, "I love this woman." Since then I have listened to most of her albumns, particularly "For the Roses," for that one has incredible passion and understanding, from "I am a woman of heart and mind, with time on her hands, no child to raise,"...to the rage imagined within Beethoven in "Judgement of the Moon and Stars," the lyrics: "You've got to shake
your fists at lightning now
You've got to roar
like forest fire
You've got to spread your
light like blazes
All across the sky..."

She is the ultimate woman - soul, sex, intelligence, passion. She is a true genius. I think she is the woman I have truly loved, without ever meeting or touching or talking or anything. This reminds me - "A Case of You." You said, love is touuching souls, well part of you comes out of me from time to time...I could go on and on and on...
