Museum of music   Print

Hearing and reading about the Joni Mitchell arti-facts not being displayed in Saskatoon gave me an idea: Why not turn the Mendel Art Gallery into a Saskatchewan museum of music?

Displayed there could be the various old, antique or interesting music instruments, as well as jukeboxes, old phonographs, records, sheet music and various musical awards earned by Saskatchewan artists.

It's also possible to allot space where Saskatchewan musicians or even invited musical groups could perform for public recognition or enjoyment. I would enjoy this much more than the new art gallery, which I may never visit.
