Tribute to Joni with Synne Meland, Hellvikalleen Norway, March 8

Singer-songwriter Synne Meland and trumpet player Kristine Klubben will honor Joni Mitchell through words and music. The two Norwegian women share a common inspiration from the songs, poetry and art of Joni. The rich sound of Kristine’s trumpet and flügelhorn blend beautifully with Synne’s amazing vocal qualities, giving a new experience of Joni’s vast musical universe. You will hear songs that stay true to the originals, as well as new arrangements of - for Joni fans - familiar material. Synne’s own compositions, inspired by Joni’s life and music, are also on the repertoire.
