I wrote this poem after the release of Travelogue. Thought I would share it with you all. It is great just to be inspired by her lyrics. Best wishes.

Upon hearing Joni Mitchell's Travelogue

She tore the heart out of the sun
and placed it in our eyes.

Until our own hearts could no longer
stand the pain of darkness.

Falling into bliss
breathing fire and flame
alone and together.

Truth ran in our veins
like a forgotten song.
