Guitar and Piano Transcriptions

Good Friends

Chord chart with fingering transcribed by Dave Blackburn

Author Notes:

This chart shows how to play an arrangement of Good Friends with the guitar triads played with fingers 1,2 and 3 and bass notes in the thumb. It sounds good with the thumb pumping 8th notes to get a driving rock feel and the chords ringing out, which may take a little practice.

I include the opening vocal phrase to indicate which word falls on beat 1.

Chords are represented by six numbers which are the fret positions on the strings from bottom to top.
