Joni's comments from the StarArt book: "This is a drawing of a playwrite friend of mine who was in my life briefly. He was sitting in a dressing room and the girl in his loin is somebody who was sitting across the room. I thought it was appropriate to include her face because he seemed to be brooding about a woman, although it wasn't her that he was brooding about."
