Roommate on Miami U. Concert Board got me 3 years of front row center seats to great gigs, including this one! No better lyricist ever lived.

My first Joni concert, even though I had adored her since 1968 when I was 12. I drove from Richmond, Indiana where I was going to college to see her at Miami U. I can't remember who I went with, even though it was a HUGE deal for me.

I FOLLOWED JONI ALL THRU THE SIXTYS AND SEVENTYS. WHEN SHE APPEARED AT MILLET HALL I WAS THERE. I DRAGGED ALL MY FRIENDS TO SEE HER. THEY WERE RELUCTANT SINCE SHE WAS "FOLK MUSIC". WE WERE ALL BLOWN AWAY AND SHE GAINED SOME MORE VERY DEVOTED FANS. SHE CUTS TO YOUR SOUL WITH HER SONGS. NO ONE CAN TURN A PHRASE LIKE HER.
